David joined Advantedge as a Director in 2013 and successfully led a management buyout in November 2016. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role having accumulated 27 years’ experience in the finance sector. Following initial stints in the construction and IT Distribution sectors, he moved to Kellock Factors cutting his teeth in the finance industry for over a decade. His success saw him join Cattles Invoice Finance as a Director where following a successful 5 years he left to move as director to a new start invoice finance division for EuroFactor. Most recently, David was regional Managing Director at Bibby Group of Factors.

Before joining Advantedge in 2007, Neal founded two specialist invoice finance companies serving the SME community. Having successfully built these businesses, he joined Advantedge bringing his enviable experience and expertise to the business. Neal has spent over 30-years working with businesses to solve their funding challenges through the provision of leasing, banking, invoice finance and asset based lending. Neal was founding director of Argent Commercial Services where he built a successful business over nine years, which was acquired by Cattles Plc. Moving on as a director to a new start invoice finance division for Eurofactor, he helped grow the business to new heights over four years.
An extremely knowledgeable and competent individual, Charlotte has over 20 years’ experience within the invoice finance sector.
Having held a senior role as Head of Operations at Bibby Financial Services Charlotte has amassed a wealth of valuable hands-on, commercial experience within their highly profiled Construction & Specialist sector.
Joining Advantedge in the Spring of 2019 as Operations Director (South), she has quickly transferred and embedded these skills within the region.

Anne joined Advantedge in May 2017 and was promoted to Group Financial Director in July 2018. She holds overall responsibility for the finance and accounting strategy in order to optimise the company’s financial performance and strategic position. Anne brings a solid reputation within finance having started life as a Chartered Accountant for PWC, before moving to KPMG where she worked in the Transaction Services team gaining experience across a variety of deals as well as flotations, share placements and financial due diligence. She then moved on to Metlife Insurance, one of the largest global providers of insurance and annuities before switching to the client side where she worked in a senior capacity for Surface Technology International who specialise in the manufacture of electronics.

With a career spanning over 25 years within the industry, Stephen brings a wealth of specialist knowledge and experience, with risk management oversight of our Central and Group Risk functions.
Stephen joined Advantedge in early 2020, accepting a new Group position that recognises the growth and future intentions of the Company with the need to bring a consolidated and strategically aligned risk function across our five fully operational regional offices.

Emma has an enviable track record gained over nearly three decades within the financial services arena having a wealth of experience across operations, risk and business change roles. Having worked in both traditional and FinTech environments her experience covers underwriting, managing structured exposures and recovery strategies across both invoice finance and stock finance.

Darren joined Advantedge in July 2013. He brings a strong reputation having built up over 30 years of experience and knowledge from within the commercial banking and invoice finance sectors. He started his career in the banking sector building up a decade of experience as the foundation for leadership roles in the industry. He joined Aldermore Bank, where he spent over a decade culminating as a Regional Managing Director of Aldermore Invoice Finance for 5 years where he was responsible for sales, risk and operations. He successfully grew his office into the most successful in the company providing the perfect backdrop for his move to Advantedge.

I have over 35 years’ experience in the finance sector starting my career at Barclays Bank before joining the invoice finance world in the early 90’s. After 15 years at Aldermore Bank, formerly Cattles Invoice Finance, I made the decision to join Advantedge in 2018 grasping the exciting opportunity to help establish, shape and grow their newly formed Midlands office.
I am a keen golfer, enjoy networking (frequently looking to combine the two!) and spending some quality down time on holiday with my family. I have recently become a fully paid up member of the Caravan & Camping Club touring the UK in the back of a Transit Van!

Bryn is a familiar figure across the South West and Wales region having built up a long and established position over many years. With experience spanning both finance and broking firms, his strength is in matching funding solutions to his clients. Having worked for Santander, Ultimate, Aldermore and Henry Howard Cashflow Finance he has worked with a diverse mix of businesses seeking funding support. Having owned his own brokerage, Bryn has strengthened his wider knowledge of the industry and understands the challenges of running a business. It was during his tenure managing Henry Howard Cashflow Finance that Advantedge bought the business retaining Bryn’s experience to drive growth in the region.

Helen is well known across the industry having built up a credible reputation within the client operations arena over many years. Helen has overall responsibility for managing both the relationship and risk management aspect of the Newport office. She is well equipped for the role having gained experience as Head of Risk at Bibby Financial Services and Head of Operations at Henry Howard Cashflow Finance.

Alex joined Advantedge in October 2018 as Relationship Manager to the growing team in South Wales following its acquisition of Henry Howard Cashflow Finance. His experience in the industry has seen him start as a credit controller at Bibby Financial through to enjoying senior positions with Ultimate Finance. During his time at Ultimate, Alex managed an extensive client and industry sector portfolio and prior to his arrival at Advantedge he had successfully led an 18 month secondment as Head of Relationship Management.

Nick has spent over 15 years as a commercial finance specialist working for both conventional High Street and independent providers. His focus over the last 7 years has been in the provision of carefully tailored invoice and receivables solutions that have provided SME businesses across the South West and South Wales with essential cashflow funding.
Nick lives in Somerset and has further coverage across the Devon, Cornwall and South Wales surrounding areas where he is having great success in building an extensive introducer, affiliate and client base.
Nic has huge experience in the Invoice Finance industry having spent almost thirty-five years applying his trade and proudly representing both bank and independent funders. During this time, he has developed several specialisms including credit control, audit and survey, before permanently attaching his expertise to sourcing, identifying and delivering quality new business across his chosen region. Having worked extensively throughout Wales and the South West of England Nic is very well known and respected in providing both guidance and appropriate funding solutions to local businesses using his vast experience and regional knowledge.

Alethea is a consummate Client Relationship professional who is driven by her passion to deliver excellence in every area of the client service. She has over two decades of experience having started her financial services career at Aldermore culminating two decades later as Head of Client Relationship Management. She made the move to join Advantedge as Operations Director in 2014 to bring her knowledge and enthusiasm to this fast-growing team.

Tracey has built a strong pedigree within the industry building exceptional expertise in both risk and operations disciplines.
A financial services professional through and through, Tracey has over 25-years’ experience within the industry having worked at RBS and Aldermore equipping her with the relevant skills and knowledge to decide on a Risk focused specialism as her career continues to flourish. She joined Advantedge in 2017 with overall responsibility for managing the portfolio risk across its Northern and Scottish regions. Her primary facing role oversees all new business deals whilst developing a consistency across multi-functional processes and procedures and nurturing an extensive risk knowledge across our Operations and Sales teams as we further develop as a Company.

Richard joined Advantedge as Regional Managing Director for Scotland in 2017, tasked with setting up and establishing our Scottish office. He has overall responsibility for the region encompassing the Sales, Risk and Operations functions.
With almost two decades of commercial finance experience behind him within both invoice and asset finance, most notably at the Bank of Scotland and latterly at Aldermore Bank, he is perfectly positioned to drive our expansion and company profile in Scotland.
Building an already extensive client base north of the border, Richard is working with a diverse range of SME’s ensuring that they have access to funding facilities ranging from £100k to £10m. Richard is extremely business focussed and always operates with a ‘’can do’’ attitude. His industry experience and expertise are proving invaluable to the region.

Marc has been an integral part of the Advantedge team since 2017 as Head of Operations to manage and support the continued growth of our Scottish portfolio.
Marc has responsibility for the Relationship team, focusing on the cashflow funding requirements whilst effectively managing the risk profile of our clients across many different industry sectors. Previously with Aldermore Plc he has tremendous experience in a client/customer facing environment and has a team built on exceptional service delivery.

Paul has over 10 years’ experience in business finance within RBS Group, Santander, Barclays before joining Advantedge in May 2019, having built up a strong and commercially biased knowledge of the Scottish SME marketplace.
